I’m starting with my first task. It’s about our yearly project. My friends and I decided to do a project about FIFA game and the pros and cons of this game.
Our supervisor is Miss Silva. We divided the work into several parts.
My part is about the bad sides of the game.
Now I will briefly talk about them.
One big problem is that players who spend real money get stronger teams. This is unfair for people who don’t want or can’t pay.
Also, the game doesn’t change much every year. It feels the same, especially in Career Mode. New versions of the game often have bugs that make it hard to play.
Online matches also have problems like lag and disconnections because of bad servers.
Finally, the game can sometimes feel unfair — for example, strange goals, slow defenders, or goalkeepers not reacting well. These things can make players very angry. This game can influense on our mentaly health.
1.– Save Our Environment. We need your help to clean up our city. What have you ever done or are you going to do to keep it clean?
I really want to keep our environment clean. I help by picking up trash and not throwing it on the ground. Sometimes, in school, we go outside and clean the area. We can recycle trash and use it again. This keeps the city clean and helps nature. To keep nature clean, we can also water plants, and we do this in my school. Watering plants makes nature green and fresh. It’s also good for the air and animals. In the future, I want to help clean with others. If everyone does a small thing, it can make a big change. Together, we can make the world a better place.
2. Your school trips. Speak about your last trip or the trip you liked the most.
A few months ago, I went on a trip to Arates with my friends and some of my favorite teachers. It was a great experience, and we had a lot of fun together. We went to a military camp, where we spent most of our time training and practicing shooting.
We also visited the river nearby. The nature was amazing, and we really enjoyed the peaceful sound of the water. Every morning, we had to do some gymnastics and go for a run to stay active and healthy.
You prepared delicious food, which made the experience even more enjoyable. In the evenings, we gathered to talk about our day and play different games. My friends and I played Alias almost every night—it was so much fun!
We also made sure to clean up the area before we left. It was a memorable trip that I will never forget.
3., What would you change, if you could change one important thing in your country?. Use reasons and specific examples to support your answers.
In Armenia, many families live in difficult conditions. Some people don’t have enough money for food, clothing, or warm homes. This makes life especially hard for children. If there were no poverty, children could study better, and parents could work and care for their families more easily. I would create more jobs and help families earn a stable income. The government should provide more support to poor families and offer free education and healthcare. I would also help people in villages, as they have fewer opportunities. If everyone had equal chances, Armenia would become stronger, happier, and more successful. I truly want to see my country grow and have a brighter future.
4. My favorite elective school subjects. Are they connected with my future profession?
Firstly, I would like to talk about the opportunity that gives our school. We can choose our favorite subjects to study and explore in depth. My elective school subjects are Biology and Spanish, and I really like them. The first elective subject is Biology. It is very difficult, at the same time, an interesting subject. In biology lessons, we talk about things like what systems, the heart, plants, animals and so on. I have chosen Biology because I want to become a doctor, so this subject is important for my future profession. My second elective subject is Spanish. I have chosen it because I want to learn and understand another language besides Armenian, English, and Russian. Spanish is a widely spoken language around the world. I really love this language and would like to continue learning it so I can speak it fluently. Another one of my favorite subjects is English. I didn’t like it before, but somehow, it has become my favorite subject. I think the teacher also plays a big role in whether a student likes or dislikes a subject. For example, I started to like English when my teacher became Miss Irina, and I liked Physics when my teacher was Miss Gayane Mkhitaryan.
5. What are the advantages of studying at Mkhitar Sebastatsi EduComplex?
Our school has many advantages compared to other schools. One of the best things is that we have no dress code—we can wear whatever we want. In general, we have a lot of freedom at our school, which helps us feel more relaxed and comfortable. We also have elective subjects that we can choose and study. There are also specal groups for learning robotics, swimming, sports, playing musical instruments, and other activities.
Our teachers are well-educated and highly prepared, which makes learning even better. One of the biggest advantages is that we use notebooks and netbooks for our classwork and homework. This makes studying very easy and convenient.
The only downside is that staring at screens for too long can harm our eyes.
6. The Internet in my life. The advantages and disadvantages of Media Education.
The internet plays a big role in my life. I use it every day to study, do homework, and find answers to my questions. It also helps people communicate easily, even across countries. However, the internet has some bad sides too. There are crimes online, and not all the information we find is true. That’s why media education is important—it helps us understand what is real and what is fake, and how to stay safe online. I believe media education is very useful. It teaches us to use the internet wisely and protect our personal information. I hope more schools will teach it in the future, so everyone can make smart and safe choices online.
7. Blog as an educational tool (area). How long have you had your blog? How often do you update your blog? What are the advantages and disadvantages of using a blog as an educational tool?
I have had a blog since 2018. I use WordPress to do my homework and classwork. I update my blog every day. In my blog, you can see what I do at school and also some interesting things about me. There are math problems, texts, poems, biology lessons, and other schoolwork. At school, we use a computer or tablet instead of notebooks. The blog is like our notebook. We write everything there. It’s easy to keep all the lessons in one place and find them later.
One of the best things is that we can see our homework online and do it from home. Even if we are not at school, we can check the blog and know what to do. It helps us not to miss anything.
Using a blog for school has many good sides. It helps us write better and learn how to use technology. It makes learning more fun because we can add pictures, videos, and links. It’s also easy to show our work to teachers and friends.
But there are some bad sides too. If the internet doesn’t work, we can’t use the blog.
I think using a blog is a good idea. It helps students be more organized, creative, and independent. I like working with my blog, and I think more schools should use blogs too.
8. Educational camps in our school. Which camp do you prefer-summer or winter? Why? Speak about your favorite activity during the camps.
In our school, educational camps are organized every summer and winter. Before the camp starts, we can look at all the teachers’ projects. If we like a certain project and the teacher, we can sign up and spend the whole camp with them. During the camp, we play many fun and educational games. These games help us improve our vocabulary, speaking skills, and thinking. We also go on visits to museums, farms, Agarak, ice skating rinks, and more.
Sometimes we travel to different cities and regions of Armenia.
One of the most interesting days is “kitchen day.” On that day, we are divided into teams and choose dishes we want to cook. Before cooking, we go shopping together to buy all the ingredients we need. Then we cook the food ourselves. It’s fun and also teaches us how to work in a team and be responsible.
I prefer the summer camp, because the weather is warm, and we can do more outdoor activities like hiking and exploring nature.
9. Folk dances and classes in our school.
In my school, we have a very good folk dance teacher. He is always happy and full of energy. He helps us feel strong and enjoy the dances. I have many favorite dances, but my most favorite is Yarkhushta. It is a strong and loud dance. You need a lot of energy to dance it. Without energy, you can’t dance Yarkhushta. At school, we learn folk dances one day a week. Sometimes we talk about Armenian music and national dances. There are dances only for boys, and some only for girls. Boys dance stronger dances, and girls dance softer ones. We mostly learn Armenian folk dances. When we dance, we must feel the music and move with our heart. Dance is not only moving—it is art. It needs energy and feeling. Our teacher also teaches dance outside of school. He goes to different places in Armenia. He brings people together, and they dance until late at night. He says it helps people stay close to Armenian culture and be happy together.
10. Sports and arts in my life.
I like doing sports. At school, I go to basketball. I like many sports, like boxing, football, volleyball, and swimming. Sports are important because they make your heart and body stronger, give you more energy, improve your mood, and help you sleep better. They also reduce stress and depression. I have been playing the guitar for three years, and I really enjoy it and adore this instrument. I really like the guitarist Jansan Kim. Playing the guitar makes your fingers more flexible and quick. It improves your memory and attention. It helps you get rid of stress and helps you relax. It also makes you feel better. Playing the guitar improves your creativity, listening, and sense of rhythm. I also enjoy the piano, especially when my brother plays it.
11. Do we live to work or work to live?
First of all, people just live. How and why they live comes later. The meaning of life is different for everyone. For some people, it means being happy. For others, it means helping people, having a good job, or simply enjoying life. But no matter the reason, people can’t live without work. I don’t work yet, but I understand how important work is. Work helps people become independent, gain experience, and slowly build their future. But in real life, people who work more don’t always earn more. Sometimes, people who work less have a higher income. They studied, tried, failed, and started again. It’s also true that every job has its own difficulties, and we should never think someone’s job is not important. If people love their job, they are not just working — they are living. People should have a goal, learn and grow, and try to reach their goal step by step. Of course, there will be hard times, but when we pass through them, we become stronger. But work should not become the only reason for living. We should work to live and enjoy life — not live only to work.
12. Healthy lifestyle.
For me, a healthy lifestyle means taking care of your body. For example, doing sports, eating healthy food, sleeping as much as needed, reading during the day, or doing something else to become more educated and develop yourself.
At school, I go to basketball. There, we run and do different exercises that make our bodies stronger and keep us physically active. I usually eat at home. I eat healthy meals like vegetables, fruits, soups, and other good food. I try to read as much as possible and do my homework to improve my mind, too.
In my opinion, we should live a healthy life to be flexible, smart, strong, and healthy. It helps us not only feel good but also stay more focused.
13. I would like my favourite occupation to be my speciality.
I have many favourite hobbies. For example, I really love the subject of biology, and I enjoy learning about the human body, animals, and even plants. Almost everything about biology and medicine is interesting to me. I would like this to become my future profession, and if I become a good doctor, I will also be able to earn good money.
I think I will do this job with love because I will be able to help people. But I also understand that to become a doctor, I need to study a lot-day and night. Becoming a really good doctor will take a lot of work and several years.
I also love playing the guitar, and it helps me relax. But I don’t want to make it my job. I want it to stay a hobby-something I enjoy in my free time.
14. A friend in need is a friend indeed.
In my opinion, a person should first understand what true friendship means, and only then become friends with someone.
Friendship is not just about having fun or spending time together. It is about trust, support, and care. A good friend is someone who helps you in everything, someone you can talk to without fear, and who also shares things with you. You feel safe and calm around them. You talk, laugh, and try to solve each other’s problems together. This kind of friendship is based on honesty and respect. I try to help my friends a lot and be a good friend myself — of course, as much as I can. When they have a problem, I try to find a way to help and support them. I think, a person who is called a friend but doesn’t help in difficult times isn’t a real friend. There are people who pretend to be friends, but they do it for their own benefit or some other reasons. Today, I think it’s quite hard to find a true friend because many people don’t really understand what friendship means and how to be a real friend.
15. My favourite corner in school.
I almost have a favourite corner everywhere, but I don’t have one in school. I mean, I don’t have one special place I really love. There are many corners in our school. For example, we have different halls for sports: basketball, gymnastics, volleyball, football, and so on. There is also a kitchen in our school. It always smells really good there. When I walk past the kitchen, some teachers and students are cooking interesting and tasty food. We also have a library full of books. It’s very quiet and peaceful there. I like the library because of that, but I don’t go there often. Once, my friend told me to go take a book and read. After reading it, I started to read more books. I also like our school yard. Boys always play football there, and it’s fun to watch. Near our school, there is a small garden. A big apricot tree grows there. In this season, my friends and I go there to pick and eat apricots. I think when we grow up, we will miss our school, the adventures, the emotions, and even the hard times.
The luncheon given on the day of the golden wedding of Mary’s grandparents was magnificent. When it was over, they all gave presents to their grandparents, and several of the elders made speeches. But for the children, the highlight of the day was their play. They left the older people to their coffee and cigarettes and went to prepare.
Mary was the last to appear in the play. She came in slowly, leaning on her stick and feeling really old and grandmotherly in a long grey dress and a beautiful wig that she had taken from her aunt’s room. But no sooner had she appeared than an angry voice spoke from the audience: “The child’s got my new wig!” Then someone said, “Sh-sh!” and there was a whispered conversation, and then silence. The play went on.
Aunt Mary, who had lost her hair in a serious illness and had to wear a wig, was very cross. Mary had to make apologies, but it was some time before Aunt Mary calmed down. It was Mary’s grandfather who then came up to her and said, “You’ve made a very good grandmother, Mary, and I am glad that your part wasn’t spoiled because of a proper costume, even if you had to take it from somebody else.”

No, the speaker doesn’t believe in horoscopes. In fact, they say they “totally don’t believe” in them.
