Essay: Unit 13

The journalist was very observant, and she could quickly identify small but important details. One day, she decided to commence writing a story about a terrible famine that had changed many lives. During the famine, many families had to migrate to other countries to survive. Some of them traveled by vessel, crossing the sea in search of hope.
Her goal was to revive the forgotten memories of that difficult time. The morning she visited the old village was hazy, but soon the sun began to gleam softly through the gray sky. She met an old man who chose to persist and stay in his home even when others were leaving.
When she finished her article, she gave it to the editor. The editor carefully read every word and said that the story was powerful and meaningful. The journalist felt proud because she had told the truth and used her voice to share an important part of history.
