The Man With Seven Lives
Pierre Chevalier, a French art toucher, experienced nearly 40 years of accidents and near-death experiences. On a cold winter day, he fell into an icy river, killing 12 passengers. Two years later, he fell out of a plane, causing 27 deaths. He woke up in a hospital with minor injuries. He was hit by a bus and a lorry, resulting in a car explosion. At 71, he bought his first lottery ticket and won over 62 million. He planned to buy a house, car, and speedboat, and get married. A TV company invited him to make an advertisement, but he chose not to. Chevalier’s story highlights the importance of luck and the potential for accidents to occur.
