My three most important skills

One of my most important skills is that I can learn things very easily when I am interested in them or I like them. When something really interests me, I can understand it quickly and remember the important parts. For example, I can learn Spanish or play the guitar very easily. Even though my memory is not very good in general, in these skills my memory is very good, and I can improve fast. When I learn a new song on the guitar or new words in Spanish, I enjoy the process, and I forget about time. My friends often say that I learn new things easily and that I am always interested in what I do.

My second skill is being organized. I always try to plan my day and organize my tasks. This helps me not only at school but also in my personal life. My friends say that I am very organized, and it makes it easier to finish tasks on time and work together with others.

My third skill is responsibility. I always try to finish my tasks on time and help other people when they need me. My friends trust me because they know I keep my promises and do not let them down.

Essay: Unit 14

In a small town, there was an unruly football team that everyone talked about. Their biggest rival was a strong team from the next city. Before the match, people were worried it might become violent because the competition between the teams was very intense.
During the game, one player pushed his opponent, and suddenly a brawl started on the field. The fight looked brutal, and the crowd became noisy and excited. One vicious player made a sudden thrust toward another, trying to take the ball in an aggressive way.
The referee blew the whistle again and again, trying to stop the whirling chaos. The smaller team, usually seen as the underdog, tried hard to stay calm. One bewildered fan even thought he was watching a duplicate of last year’s match because everything felt the same.

Essay: Unit 13

The journalist was very observant, and she could quickly identify small but important details. One day, she decided to commence writing a story about a terrible famine that had changed many lives. During the famine, many families had to migrate to other countries to survive. Some of them traveled by vessel, crossing the sea in search of hope.
Her goal was to revive the forgotten memories of that difficult time. The morning she visited the old village was hazy, but soon the sun began to gleam softly through the gray sky. She met an old man who chose to persist and stay in his home even when others were leaving.
When she finished her article, she gave it to the editor. The editor carefully read every word and said that the story was powerful and meaningful. The journalist felt proud because she had told the truth and used her voice to share an important part of history.
