Should exams be abolished

I think exams are important in education. They help students see what they know and find their strong and weak sides. Exams also teach responsibility and the habit of studying on your own. But I don’t think exams should be the only way to measure knowledge. One exam cannot show how smart or talented a student is, because everyone has different skills. Some do well in written tests, others explain better when speaking. That’s why exams should not decide a student’s whole future. For example, exams can be for university admission, but they should not stop someone from entering the university they want. It would be better if exams only showed the student’s level. This way, everyone could study where they want, and their knowledge would still be clear.
