Donald Bisset The Lost Birthday
Once upon a time there was a big father elephant who lived at Zoo with a mother elephant and their little elephant Yalmar.One day they saw the father elephant standing on his head. And they asked him what he was doing. He answered that he was trying to remember something . Mother elephant said to Yalmar to go and find what his father forgot. Soon Yalmar was in a little hill by a bamboo wood and there he heard the sound of crying and asked the voice how he could help him. The voice said that he was someone’s lost birthday with 6 candles. But Yalmar said that he didn’t know whose birthday the voice was and retuned home. When he came back Mather said that father remembered that today was Yalmar’s 6 birthday. So Yalmar thought that the voice that was crying was his lost birthday and hurried up to a little hill by a bamboo wood and found his lost birthday.
