The Burglars’ Friend

When it was 3 o’clock in the morning 4-year-old Russell Brown woke up to go to the toilet. His parents were asleep. But he heard a noise in the living room and saw a light was on, he went downstairs. There he found two men. They asked him his name and told him they were friends of the family. Russell believed them. They asked him where the video recorder was. Russell showed them. Russell told them that his mother kept her purse in the kitchen and they took it. Russell gave them his pocket money, too. They finally left at 4 o’clock. The next day, when his parents know about the burglar, his father says “I couldn’t be angry with Russell because he thought he was doing the right thing. Fortunately, the police caught the two burglars last week.

The USA (Yuet Tung)

Yuet Tung is her Chinese name, but her English name is Clara. She came to the US eight years ago and studied fine arts. She got married three years ago and they live in Long Island. They don’t have any children yet.
In Hong Kong, everyone uses public transport because it’s cheap and good. She live in a house with a yard.
Clara says that New York is very similar to Hong Kong. It is a busy city and she likes the shops there. They are bigger and cheaper than in Hong Kong. But you need a car here.
